ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

Attention Seniors - If you will be attending college, you must have your final transcript sent to that school.  You can fill out a transcript request form in the Guidance Office.  Even if you already had a transcript sent this year, you must request that your final graduate transcript be sent to the college or university you will be attending.

There will be a quick volleyball meeting after school on June 7th.

Attention Seniors – you will check out of school on Thursday starting at 8:00.  At this time all fines and your parking passes need to be turned in.

Any girl athletes who are still using a locker in the girls locker room need to have them cleaned out and locks turned into Mrs. Crowe by Wednesday, June 7th.

If you bought photos at Prom, please pick them up in Mrs. Binger’s classroom by Friday.

Any girls interested in golfing next season need to attend a meeting on Monday at 8:00 at the Spring Creek Golf course.

The newly chosen Freshmen Mentors and returning mentors list for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year will be posted on the window by the front office.  If you have any questions speak with Ms. April in T6.

Varsity baseball players need to turn in their baseball uniforms to Coach Gilligan.

Students: All library books are due Tuesday, June 6th.  Please do not forget to return you library books before the end of the school year.

Sophomores and Juniors. If you're interested in being a mentor next year pick up an application in M3, Ms. Pirtles room, or the guidance office? Please return the completed application to T6 or M3.

Spring Creek High School Drug and Alcohol free graduation party tickets are on sale now in room M15 through June 2nd.  Tickets are $25 for SCHS Grads and $5 for Guest (non grad)

Gateway to Giza has arrived.  SCHS’s Prom will take place on May 27th from 8-11:30 at the Elko Convention Center.  Tickets are on sale during both lunches.  Prices will be $45 a couple and $25 a single.  Tickets will not be sold at the door.

Future law enforcement academy training called Fleet will hold their 2nd annual academy camp in Carlin at the National Guard Readiness Center on June 23-30th.  Any questions contact Deputy Sherwood your SRO at 397-7017.

Yearbooks are on sale for $65.  Please see Miss Lister at lunch or after school to purchase yours.

Key Club will have a mandatory meeting for all members on Tuesday, May 30th after school in room M9 to discuss officers and plan for next year.

All freshmen, sophomore, and junior boys interested in playing football in the fall of 2017, there will be a mandatory meeting the in the MPR room at 1:50 on Wednesday, May 31st.

Prom pictures are at 5:30-6:30 at GBC Clock tower or at 7:00 thru the dance at the Convention Center.  You can pick up picture packets when you purchase your tickets at lunch time.  The dance will start at 8pm.

Win a free Kindle Fire or gift cards from Fizz, Diamondchippers, Round Table Pizza, etc.  Register and participate in Elko County Library’s Teen Summer Reading Program and get the chance to win on of these awesome prizes.  We also have a computer coding and build an air/water pressure vehicle day camps available for sign-up.  For more information pick up a flier in the front office.

Get your 30 required hours of drivers education this summer through Great Basin College. Online driver's education class begins June 12. FMI, go to www.gbcnv.edu/drivers-ed or call 775-753-2102. The fee is $50 plus a $10 application fee. The price will be going up in the fall, so enroll soon
