Drivers Ed will be starting February 7th.  This is an online class through Great Basin College and you can sign up on their website.  You need a class in order to get your driver’s license if you are under 18.  See Mr. Murphy with any questions.

Why give your sweetheart chocolate on Valentine’s Day when you can take her to Death by Chocolate instead?  The Drama II play will be February 14th & 15th at 7pm for $4.00.  Death is in the air so see you there.

After a very exciting evening, Mitch Owsley was crowned Mr. SCHS.  Bailey Porreca was the Runner Up and the People’s Choice Award went to Brennan Reese.  Congratulate them when you see them.

There will be a Key Club meeting Thursday @ 2pm in room M9.

Hey Spartans, have you seen our winter edition of the Online School Newspaper?  Maybe you missed the fall edition, or didn’t even know we had an Online Newspaper at all.  Well, guess what?  We do, and it’s awesome.  Go to the SCHS website, click on the “Student Resources” and then click “Online Newspaper”.  Check out all the latest and greatest events and news happening here at SCHS.

Yearbook staff is working hard to capture all the amazing SCHS memories.  Have you ordered your yearbook full of awesomeness yet?  Pre-order deadline is approaching fast.  See Miss Lister in M31 for an order form today.

HOSA is going to have an activity that is called confidential cupid.  It’s a lot like secret santa.  If you are interested, please come by Mr. VanO’s room T2 to sign up.  We will allow you to sign up until Monday, February 6th.  You could have a lot of fun doing small thins for someone in February.

Starting February 6th through February 14th, HOSA will be selling Candy Grams at lunch.  Give something sweet to that special someone.  Or just surprise someone and let them know you care.  We have hugs and kisses bags, we have candybars, and we have stuffed animals.  Come by during lunch and check it out.  First come first serve.  Supplies are limited, so make sure to stop by and see what little things can go a long way.  We will deliver these on Valentines Day.

SCHS Seniors, an admissions recruiter from Lewis and Clark College will be in the library on February 6th at 7:30am to meet with students.  See Mr. Binger in the counseling office for details.
