ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

Drivers Ed will be starting February 7th.  This is an online class through Great Basin College and you can sign up on their website.  You need a class in order to get your driver’s license if you are under 18.  See Mr. Murphy with any questions.

Why give your sweetheart chocolate on Valentine’s Day when you can take her to Death by Chocolate instead?  The Drama II play will be February 14th & 15th at 7pm for $4.00.  Death is in the air so see you there.

There will be a Key Club meeting today @ 2pm in room M9.

Hey Spartans, have you seen our winter edition of the Online School Newspaper?  Maybe you missed the fall edition, or didn’t even know we had an Online Newspaper at all.  Well, guess what?  We do, and it’s awesome.  Go to the SCHS website, click on the “Student Resources” and then click “Online Newspaper”.  Check out all the latest and greatest events and news happening here at SCHS

HOSA is going to have an activity that is called confidential cupid.  It’s a lot like secret Santa.  If you are interested, please come by Mr. VanO’s room T2 to sign up.  We will allow you to sign up until Monday, February 6th.  You could have a lot of fun doing small thins for someone in February.

Starting February 6th through February 14th, HOSA will be selling Candy Grams at lunch.  Give something sweet to that special someone.  Or just surprise someone and let them know you care.  We have hugs and kisses bags, we have candy bars, and we have stuffed animals.  Come by during lunch and check it out.  First come first serve.  Supplies are limited, so make sure to stop by and see what little things can go a long way.  We will deliver these on Valentines Day.

SCHS Seniors, an admissions recruiter from Lewis and Clark College will be in the library on February 6th at 7:30am to meet with students.  See Mr. Binger in the counseling office for details.

Report Cards were handed out 2A on Wednesday.  If you were absent that day, please come to the Guidance Office to pick up your Report Card.

The Mighty 300 these for Friday’s games against Fernley will be Superhero.  This is also senior night, please come out and cheer on our Spartans.

We almost to the 100th day of school.  Celebrate with us by dressing up as a senior citizen on Wednesday, February 8th. 

Seniors, we will be celebrating the 100th day of school with a bingo night.  You will have a chance to win prizes and there will be refreshments.  Senior Bingo night will start at 6pmn in the MPR.  We hope to see you there.
