If you are planning on running for a class office within student council, you can pick up the paperwork from Mrs. Rainwater in T1.  All paperwork must be turned in by Friday, March 3rd.

Student Council have paired advisory classes to participate in a sock drive.  The classes who collect the most get a pizza party and classes who collect 50 pairs get a doughnut party.  The deadline is the 10th of March.  Please bring socks for your advisory class.

FBLA is celebrating FBLA this week.  Thursday is Taco in a Bag or Nachos with a drink for $3

Online Driver’s Education classes begin March 7th and April 11th at Great Basin College.  The cost of $50 plus a $10 application fee.  Enroll at least 3 days before the class starts at your local GBC Center or online at  Call 753-2231 for more information.  This class meets Nevada DMV requirement for teens getting their first driver’s license.

Skywarn storm spotters are the National Weather Service’s eyes on the ground in the war against severe weather.  Their reports give the NWS the help it needs to warn for severe weather and save lives.  Training covers the basics of weather safety, identify hazardous weather features, and how to report weather.  Register at to reserve your seat.  National Weather Service will cover all fees.  This course is being taught live in Elko.
