Pssst… Hey.  You wanna be a part of a senior prank?  You don’t have to be a senior to participate.  Come hang out with Drama II on May 16th for their interactive play called, “Senior Prank!”  You can get tickets at lunch starting May 1st for only $4.  There will be a show at 3:30, 4:45, 6:00 and 7:15.

Gateway to Giza has arrived.  SCHS’s Prom will take place on May 27th from 8-11:30 at the Elko Convention Center.  Tickets are on sale during both lunches.  Prices will be $45 a couple and $25 a single.  Tickets will not be sold at the door.

If you will be attending college, you must have your final transcript sent to that school.  You can fill out a transcript request form in the Guidance Office.  Even if you already had a transcript sent this year, you must request that your final graduate transcript be sent to the college or university you will be attending.

There will be a mandatory lunch meetings during first and second lunch in T6 on Friday, May 11th.  We will be discussing our last group activity.  The activity will address Cyber-bullying so come to the meeting with ideas on ways to mentor our freshmen on how to use Social Media for good.

Senior honor society members you need to bring money if you want to purchase your stoles and chords.  Junior members, if you are running for an officer position, get your applications into Mrs. Smith by Thursday morning.

Seniors – Caps and Gowns will be handed out on Thursday, May 18th.  You need to have all fines paid off in order to receive your cap and gown.  This includes library, lunch, etc.  If you are unsure if you have fines please check with Amanda in the front office.

Four local businesses coming together to serve our community for Spring Creek Prom.  Candlelight Bridal & Prom for tux rental and dresses, Beauty by Jadyn for Hair & Makeup, Evergreen for Corsage/Boutonniere and Rockwell Photography for your pictures.

Red’s Ranch is now hiring.  Stop by the Guidance Office and pick up a flyer or call 753-6281.

Students, End of Course Assessments will be given next week.  There will be a regular start time for students who are testing.  For students who are not testing there will be a late start and school will begin at 10:20.  The counselors are sending out test notifications today and tomorrow.  If you have any questions please ask Mrs. Barkdull.
