Gateway to Giza has arrived.  SCHS’s Prom will take place on May 27th from 8-11:30 at the Elko Convention Center.  Tickets are on sale during both lunches.  Prices will be $45 a couple and $25 a single.  Tickets will not be sold at the door.

If you will be attending college, you must have your final transcript sent to that school.  You can fill out a transcript request form in the Guidance Office.  Even if you already had a transcript sent this year, you must request that your final graduate transcript be sent to the college or university you will be attending.

Seniors – Caps and Gowns will be handed out on Thursday, May 18th. You will need to be at the school by 9:00 am and meet in the multipurpose room.    You need to have all fines paid off in order to receive your cap and gown.  This includes library, lunch, etc.  If you are unsure if you have fines please check with Amanda in the front office. 

There is an end of the year BBQ for Skills USA in Mr Murphy's room this Thursday at 5:30 PM.

There will be a mandatory speech and debate meeting for everyone interested in doing speech and debate next year in Mrs. Carlson's room after school on Tuesday, May 23rd.  Again, anyone interested in speech and debate for next year MUST attend a meeting in Mrs. Carlson's room after school on Tuesday, May 23rd. 

Seniors, if you have received a scholarship please stop by the counseling office and fill out a form to be recognized during the senior awards night on May 24.

Spring Creek High School Drug and Alcohol free graduation party tickets are on sale now in room M15 through June 2nd.  Tickets are $25 for SCHS Grads and $5 for Guest (non grad)

Yearbooks have arrived.  The books will be handed out during both lunches up on the stage in the MPR.  If you had your book personalized, please see Miss Lister either during lunch or after school.  Please do not disrupt her classes during school to ask for your yearbook.  The yearbook staff will also be selling Sharpies, World Beatas, Autograph Inserts, and protective covers during both lunches.  If you did not pre-order a yearbook and would still like to purchase one, please see Miss Lister in M31 during lunch or after school.  There is a limited suplly of books left to buy and cost has gone up to $65.  Don’t miss out on the memories, get your yearbook while supplies last. 

Do you think you are lucky?  Do you like winning prizes?  Then join  us Friday night for Bingo.  HOSA will be hosting a Bingo night Friday, May 19th to try and earn money for nationals.  The cost of $5 for a card for all night or 50 cents for the paper cards.  We will be selling snacks, pizza, and drinks.  So join us Friday for Bingo from 5-8 and walk away a lucky winner.

Congratulations to our Boys Golf team for winning the 3A State Championship.

Mentors - there will be a mandatory lunch meetings during first and second lunch in T6 on Thursday.  We will be discussing our last group activity.  The activity will address cyber-bullying so come to the meeting with ideas on ways to mentor our freshmen on how to use Social Media for good.
