ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

All athletes that wish to participate in a winter sport need to get registered for that sport before try-outs.  Please visit www.registermyathlete.com  You will also need to print out and fill out the Interim form and get that turned into the Athletic Office.  Any questions see Coach Miller in the athletic office.

 

Students, our Varsity Football team will take on the Fallon Greenwave on Friday at 7pm.  Just a reminder that this is an NIAA event.  Meaning season passes and Might 300 cards WILL NOT be accepted.  Price for students to attend is $5.00 and adults are $10.00.

 

Silver Sage FFA will be having a CDE meeting on November 9th right after school in Mr. Smith’s room.  If you plan on competing this year, you must come.  Following the meeting there will be Rootbeer floats and kickball.

 

The Drama II class presents The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon on November 8th & 9th at 7pm.  The fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm are turned on their heads in this fast paced show as two narrators and several actors attempt to combine 209 stories ranging from classics like Snow White to more bizarre, obscure stories like the Devil’s Grandmother.  A wile, free-form comedy with lots of audience participation and madcap fun.  Tickets are $4.  See you there. 

All boys interested in playing basketball this year need to attend a mandatory meeting on Monday at 1:45 in room M3.

Monday November 7th through November 10th we are having HOSA week.  They are going to have dress up days and activities for every day.  Posters are up all over the school to help remind you.  Get out and participate.  We are also doing donation wars at lunch for the National Alliance on Mental Illness.  Who is going to win, first lunch or first lunch.  If you have any questions come see VanO.

We would like to congratulate the following students as Spartans of the Month for October: Rachael Peterson, Harrison Jones, Hayden Binger, & Jenessa Owen.  These students were recognized Wednesday at an early morning breakfast with their families and teachers.  We want to thank them for being Outstanding Spartans and for making a difference at Spring Creek High School.
