All athletes that wish to participate in a winter sport need to get registered for that sport before try-outs.  Please visit  You will also need to print out and fill out the Interim form and get that turned into the Athletic Office.  Any questions see Coach Miller in the athletic office.


Silver Sage FFA will be having a CDE meeting on November 9th right after school in Mr. Smith’s room.  If you plan on competing this year, you must come.  Following the meeting there will be Rootbeer floats and kickball.


The Drama II class presents The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon on November 8th & 9th at 7pm.  The fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm are turned on their heads in this fast paced show as two narrators and several actors attempt to combine 209 stories ranging from classics like Snow White to more bizarre, obscure stories like the Devil’s Grandmother.  A wile, free-form comedy with lots of audience participation and madcap fun.  Tickets are $4.  See you there.

All boys interested in playing basketball this year need to attend a mandatory meeting on Monday at 1:45 in room M3.

Progress reports cards were handed out on Thursday of last week.  If you were absent, stop by the Guidance Office to pick up your Progress Report

HOSA Week is all week.  Make sure to participate in the dress up days, lunch activities and night activities.  We are having donation wards at lunch as well.  Have the best donating lunch and the donors of that lunch will win a prize.  Come check us out in the lunch room during your lunch.  Today’s lunch activity is emergency information for your phone.  Tonight’s activity will be sports night in the gym for 6:30-7:30.  Make sure to be a part of the fun.

Don’t forget tomorrow is treatment Tuesday.  So fake an injury or be a patient.  Hope to see you participate this week.  Let’s raise as much money as we can for HOSA’s national charity, National Alliance on Mental Illness.  We really want to be Elko HOSA.

Skill’s USA is having a meeting this Thursday at 5:30 in Mr. Murphy’s room.  Everyone going to Las Vegas need to get their permission forms to Mr. Murphy ASAP.
