Juniors and Seniors – the United States Army will be at SCHS on September 21st during advisory in the MPR to talk about careers in the military.  Please sign up in the counseling office.


Homecoming tickets are now being sold during both lunches on the stage.  The dance is September 24th from 8-11pm.  The prices are $25 a couple, $15 for a single and $5 more at the door.  If you plan on bringing a date from a different school, or that is out of school you must have a principal’s approval first in order to get a pass from Mrs. Rainwater.


Students, you can pay in advance for your Homecoming pictures, picture packets will be given to you when you purchase your Homecoming tickets.  If you prepay, you’ll receive 8 free wallet sized photos.


Don’t be a “Fuddy Duddy”, dress up for Homecoming week– Tuesday is dress like a president or wear blue – Wednesday is Redneck and Plaid or wear red – Thursday is Military/camouflage or wear green – Friday is Spirit Day wear purple, black and white. 


Students just a reminder that you are not allowed to go out to your cars at any point during the day.


Sing up for Homecoming night activities at lunch today and tomorrow – Monday is dodgeball it cost $25 per team, Tuesday is He-man volleyball and costs $20 per team, Wednesday soccer and volleyball are at home so go and support your teams, Thursday is Powderpuff football cost is $10 per person and Friday is the Homecoming games.  Soccer starts at 3, Volleyball at 4 and Football at 4:30.


For our Monday Homecoming lunch activity, we are making patriotic tee shirts.  Please bring $2 to participate.  Hope to see you there.


The first GSA meeting of this school year will be Tuesday, September 20th after school in Mrs. Lewis’ room T5.  Hope to see you there.  There will be refreshments.


Register for the National Weather Service “Sky Warn” spotter training at GBC.  Call the office at 753-2231 to pre-register.  The class will be held on October 25th at 6 at Great Basin College.


You will be voting for the Homecoming King and Queen and the 9th-11th grade court candidates in your 3AB class.  Cast only one vote for the boy/girl candidate in your own grade level.


Good morning, we are proud to announce a new breakfast cart outside by the main office starting Monday, September 26th.  No cash will be taken at this breakfast cart outside.  Please put money on your accounts beforehand, and make any payments to the front office.  Be sure to come enjoy breakfast to get your raffle ticket every day this week.
